Assembly of God. ist April 1979 "PRAYER S4NOTUARY" BULIBTIN. Wo.26a Dear Prayer Partners, "Let us come boldly to the Throne Of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need"(tHeb.4.16) ‘Tne way is open - Hallelujah! We may enter the Holiest of All - and present ourselves before the Living God! Once it meant death to approach that Eoly Place - but now it means death NO? to draw near! Is it easy to find our way to the Throne of Grace? Not if Satan can hinder us. Some of the hindrances are - "be~ ing too busy", "There is so much to be done", "I haven't time". Our own spiritual dullness is another, or even a dis-inclination. BUD WB ALL NEED GRACE 10 LIVE BACH DAY!” And God has made such wond- erful provision. He says in Pealm 89.19, "I have laid help upon One that is mighty". No problem is too complex for Him to solve, no weakness too great for His strength to undertake. Doesn't it take grace to live - at home? Home can be the place of greatest failure or greatest victory for the Christian. Doesn't it take grace to glorify God in business? Some say it is in— poosible to be a Christian in business - but that's not true! It can be done, but only by constant recourse to the Throne of Grace! here ig no place into which God has put us where He cannot enable us! ‘The Throne is the secret place in which the resources of the Almighty God are obtained! "Grace to help in time of need"! And He has such a marvellous way of going before us, straightening out tangles, easing difficult interviews, relieving burdens, guiding in the writing of a letter, the finding of a misplaced possession, the treatment of a @ifficult child - On, He helps in a thousand different ways! So Brother/Sister, come boldly! When? There is no time limit. During ‘the day we may live in uninterrupted communion with God, even when we are occupied with other necessary things. But those who live in "momentary communion" all day, value more than others the SET-APART ‘TIME each day at the Throne! At that Throne, eagles! wings are found; there strength is obtained for "running without growing weary" ond for"walking without feinting” ‘THE MORNING WATGH, The Prayer Subjeot this week - OUR YOUNG PEOPLE! That they may be Hage ES Gre BOSE of God tron the wickedness, corruption and rising tide of godlessness that is sweeping the world. Pray that they may realise the perilous tines we are living in, God's love for then and {he vaiue He places upon them - and the power and strength that is available for them in Jesus! Our Prayer Purpose. Pirst and foremost our purpose mist be to satisfy ‘he great Heart of God ~ "Who seoketh euch to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth". Then, (as Paul expressed it in Phil.3.6,9,10) "That I might win Christ...and be found in Him...that I may know Hin", After that, my purpose in prayer should be for others. For this purpose I place my life at His disposal to be used as a channel of blessing. My witness must be vital, my very being radiating heavenly sunshine, joy, and abundant health. "Pour your life into ny life, dear Lord. Take me up as your dwelling plece. I yield to Thee" My life has weavings and ramifications that reach out to other persons and events. I meet no one by accident - their lives affect me and my life affects then - God has selected other persons to cone within my sphore of influence TODAY. "A channel only, blessed Master, but with dl Thy love and power, flowing through me, me, every dey and every hour" ‘LWOULD. DAY _A DAY OP PRAT "I will blesa the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth" (Pealm 34.1). "For God is the King of all the earth; Sing ye praises with understanding" (Ps.47.7) NOTH: "with understanding" ‘Try end avola mechanical praise - vain repetition. Praise should come from the heart out THANAFULNESS, REVERENCE AND AWE POR THE GLORY OP HIs PERSON, and REJOICING IN THS VIOTORY THAT IS OURS THROUGH BIS WaME AND HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD. Oh, Hallelujah, What a Saviour! !!1!!! Our OF A HEART OF [OVE HOW CAN WH HELP BUT PRAISE HIM!! Glory !GLORY!
