Interested individuals should call or visit the office with documentation including proof of income, social security cards, birth certificates, utility bills, photo ID, and current lease to determine if they qualify. Assistance is available for electricity, gas, and seasonal water bills.

League is here to lend a helping hand with your utility


bills. If you live within the city limits of Tucson and
meet the required income criteria, you may qualify for
utility assistance.

documentation:

ƒ Income verification for last 30 days from date

ƒ DES Award Letter/Food Stamp Letter
ƒ Social Security Cards
ƒ Birth Certificates
ƒ Current Utility Bills The  Tucson  Urban  League  is  a  501(c)(3)  
ƒ Picture I.D. non-­‐‑profit  organization  
ƒ Current Lease (If you are on Section 8, please bring www.tucsonurbanleague.org
in your current Calculation Summary)


¾ Income includes but is not limited to Employment, Social Security, UI, Child Support, ect.
¾ If the utility company is requiring a deposit we will need Certified Birth Certificates and social
security cards for everyone in the household.
¾ Electricity & Gas (Water is seasonal – May thru October)
