Begin with a square, white side up, with both diagonals precreased.
Valley fold the top edges tothe center line, creasing theangle bisectors.
Valley fold the top point to theintersection of the anglebisectors created in Step 1.
Valley fold both sides of thenew top edge and theattached paper below it to thecenter line.
Pull out the point (the one foldeddown in Step 2) hidden by theflaps folded down in Step 3. Thenext few diagrams are close-upsof the top of the model.
Squash fold the point at thetop to create a smallpreliminary fold.
Squash fold the right side ofthe preliminary fold.
Petal fold the flap, leaving thepetal pointing down.
Fold the left flap of the petalback over to the right.
Repeat Steps 6-8 in mirror imageon the left side of the model.
Valley fold the point created by the petalfolds up to meet the top of the model. Thispoint will be the lower jaw. The next stepreturns to a full view of the model.
