Ada efek histerisis dalam implementasi praktisnya.

Differential gap:
adakalanya digunakan untuk menghindariterlalu seringnya terjadi mekanisme on-off.
Aplikasi :Sistem skala besar dengan laju proses lambat(sistem pendingin/pemanas ruangan).
Contoh implementasi:Katup yang digerakkan oleh solenoid.
