Strikes on Qasr Ahmed from Al-Aerar
Heavy artillery weapons hidden in Tmina
There are reports that Gaddafi forces have hidden heavy artillery guns in Tmina and continue to strike theharbour with them. The challenge for NATO is that the Gaddafi forces have hidden them so that NATO cannotfind and destroy them. Gaddafi forces will often bury their heavy artillery guns under the sand. The random shelling has damaged warehouses at the port, including the baby milk warehouse store. Thedocks are still intact and the harbour is operational; the entry and exit of ships is still possible.
Gaddafi forces are still positioned inside the airport. Freedom fighters surround them and continue to hitthem. There are confirmed reports that 30 Gaddafi military vehicles were heading north to rescue Gaddafiforces besieged at Misurata airport. NATO forces struck them 9pm Libyan time; only one vehicle escaped.NATO forces are still patrolling over central Misurata and residential areas, striking and destroying Gaddafiforces when they spot their vehicles.
