Dear Mrs. Miller,

This semester has been an amazing and fulfilling experience; I¶ve learned so much from you that I will carry on through out my remaining years as Rider and my career. Before this semester, I thought I had a clear idea of what grade level I wanted to teach, and it wasn¶t first grade. But after this semester and experience in your classroom, my mind has changed. I loved interacting with the children and hearing the stories they would tell me every morning, it was also extremely rewarding to help the students learn in literacy and math. Of course I wouldn¶t have been able to get through it without you. You helped me pull through my lessons when I struggled and needed guidance, you helped me with my assignments for my classes and you were very informative and responsive when I asked questions or wanted clarification on a certain topic. I appreciate you giving me worksheets and books and of course direction when it came to my lesson plans, I appreciate your feedback and commentary about my performance in the classroom and I will apply your advice in my future career.

Watching you interact and teach the students has been an experience in itself, witnessing how engaged and responsive the students are when you teach a lesson or perform an interactive read aloud makes me want to be just as strong and effective as a teacher. The students appreciate you and have fun in your classroom; you¶ve created a enjoyable and safe learning environment for them, which make school exciting for the students. Because of you, I have a better understanding of the type of teacher I want to be, I¶ve observed you in the classroom and truly appreciate and respect how much you love teaching and your students, that¶s the type of teacher I want to be. Overall my experience this semester in your classroom has been a positive, educational and rewarding one. I appreciate all that you¶ve done for me and hope to see you again soon. Thanks again for all your help and guidance, you are truly an amazing teacher, role model and person.
