ell, who would have ever imagined that the Rated RSuperstar would have retiredon the 11th April 2011 edition of MondayNight Raw. It was another one of thoseincredibly real and emotional momentsthat now and again wrestling canprovide.
While Adam “Edge” Copeland not havegone out on his own terms, there isn’t amuch better way to fade into the sunsetthan retiring as a world champion andsuccessfully defending your title atWrestlemania? He can now spend timewith his family and enjoy life knowing thathe has accomplished great things in the wrestling industry. His retirement leaves a major spot open in the main event scene, whowill fill that vacancy? Only time will tell, but it definitely is going to beinteresting who WWE feels can make the leap towards the main event. To coincide with this shocking announcement, inside this latest issue of
TWP
, we detail Edge’s wrestling career in depth from his beginnings inthe wrestling business all the way through to the present day.We also take an in depth look at the history of WWE Tough Enough;delve into the future of iPPV and detail why TNA let their workers calltheir own spots and promo’s in the ring.Plus our feature interviews this month are with the voice of TNA JeremyBorash and WWE Hall of Famer “The million dollar man” Ted DibiaseI’d also just like to announce the winners of last month’s competitions, the winner of the signed Low Ki picture and t-shirt is Scott Downs. The winners of the WWE All Stars competition are Kevin Malton, JeroenDegens, Danielle Irving and Nicholls.Last but not least, the winners of the JR’s BBQ sauce competition areMoulvi, Michael Cole, James Shaw and Mark Sanchez. Thanks to all who entered, our competition this month is to win 5 WWEDVD’s, so get them answers coming in.I hope you enjoy May’s issue of
