Inventor Glogster Directions

Step #1: Choose Backgrounds

 Use Wall – Glog Wall to create main background.
 TIP: Choose a lighter and quieter background so the things you
place on top of it can be seen.
 Use Wall – Page Wall to create the background on the
sides. Here you can use brighter colors and patterns.

Step #2: Create Titles

 Use Text – Titles to create titles.
 Don’t forget to add a title object for your name.
 TIP: Keep titles to a single line of text. If text is too long to
stay on a single line, then you need to make the text smaller. Note
that changing the object’s size may not make the text fit!!

Step #3: Create Stickers for Research

 Use Text – Stickers to type in your research.
 TIP: There is NO SPELL-CHECK in Glogster!! Open Word and
first type and spell-check your paragraph there and then copy
it into your Glogster sticker.
 TIP: If your paragraph is longer than your object, a scroll bar
will appear when you publish your Glog so you can read all the text.
If you do not want scroll bars, then you need to either make your
text smaller or move the extra text to a new sticker.

Step #4: Insert Images of Inventor & Invention

 Use Images – Upload to create.
 TIP: DO not link images – they will not load into your Glog
when it’s published.
 Choose to place a Frame around images.
 Add effects like shadows for visual appeal.
