‡Amyloidosis is a systemic disease, characterizedby deposition of specific fibrillar protein, localizingperireticularly or around the collagen fibers, thatleads to affected organs impairment.‡Amyloidosis is a disorder of protein metabolism,which may be either acquired or hereditary,characterized by extracellular deposition of abnormal protein fibrils.‡
Amyloidosis is a clinical disorder caused byextracellular deposition of insoluble abnormalfibrils that injure tissue. The fibrils are formedby the aggregation of misfolded, normallysoluble proteins(2006).
