Bayer Adverse Effects Email Notification

Objective
Develop a method to automate the delivery of
content when a document is tagged with the
category associated with a pharmaceutical
‘adverse effect.’

The automated delivery fulfills a FDA


requirement to notify Bayer when a document
contains content describing an author’s adverse
effect when using Bayer’s products.
Purpose

 To know the ‘adverse effects’ and


‘Product Technical Complaints’ of
Bayer’s products.
Scope
Bayer’s Customization will involve testing areas like
‘Document Full Context’ Page in Maestro and ‘Email
notifications’ which will be outside the Maestro
application.

We’ll focus our testing on areas specified in the next


slide.
 Main focus would be to Check if tagged documents are
queued for email delivery and if these tagged documents are
sent via email.
