Tríadas

Las tríadas, al igual que las terceras con anterioridad , son de gran utilidad
como secuencias diatónicas de una escala ya que permiten descubrir nuevas
combinaciones interválicas y matices que de lo contrario permanecerían ocultos.

Desde una perspectiva técnica plantean algunos problemas de digitación

debido a que su desarrollo, aunque intuitivo auditivamente, es dificil de plasmar en
el instrumento. Además, hay que considerar que las tríadas al constar de tres
notas, van a desplazar los acentos si son tocadas en corcheas o semicorcheas
sobre un pulso de división binaria.

Todos los ejemplos que aparecen a continuación están basados en el

patrón de la escala de C mayor con tónica en 5ª cuerda, pero deben explorase en

las restantes digitaciones y escalas (Fig. 1).

Una vez que se ha decidido el patrón de la escala sobre el cual se van a

aplicar las secuencias, de manera idéntica a como sucede con la terceras, las
tríadas se pueden desplegar de cuatro maneras:

• Ascendentes (Fig. 2).

• Descendentes (Fig. 3).
• Ascendentes/descendentes (Fig. 4)
• Descendentes/ascendentes (Fig. 5).

De manera frecuente las tríadas se tocan de manera ascendente cuando

se sube por la escala y descendente cuando se baja (Fig. 6). Las secuencias
anteriores se pueden articular en tresillos, sincronizando el número de notas de la
tríada y la subdivisión (Fig. 7).

Una permutación habitual de la tríada consiste en establecer una

secuencia de cuatro notas, repitendose entoces la fundamental (Fig. 8-9), la
tercera (Fig. 10-11) y la quinta (Fig. 12-13).

Las secuencias anteriores deben ser tocadas en todos los tipos de escalas,
digitaciones y tonalidades. Ese objetivo es muy demandante en tiempo y debe
considerarse a medio/largo plazo. Sin embargo, enriquecerá en gran medida la
comprensión de las escalas, mejorará la coordinación de las manos, habituará el
oído a desarrollos más verticales y mejorará considerablemente el conocimiento
del diapasón.
