Our Mother’s Love Response Reading

Worship Leader: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the
Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to my God upon every remembrance of
you.

Congregation: Mother’s Day is a way we can remember whom God has

given to us. Their loving example is important to our children.

Worship Leader: Love is patient; love is kind.

Congregation: Love is not jealous; is not proud;

Worship Leader: Love is not conceited; does not act foolishly; is not
selfish; is not easily provoked to anger;

Congregation: Love will keep no record of wrongs; takes no pleasure in

unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth;

Worship Leader: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all
things, and endures all things.

Congregation: Thank God for the love of our mothers and the example
they brings before us.

Worship: We must honor our Mothers that it may go well with us and that
our days may be long upon the earth.
Unison: Thank you, God, for the kind-hearted women that you have given
to our homes. May they bring a blessing to those all around them. Bless
our homes, we pray.
