The end of April means that National Poetry Month is now behind us. It was a month of
great poetry on Scribd. Amongst the featured works this month were poems from
former US Poet Laureates, living legends, and interviews with Pulitzer Prize winning
poets.

What I was incredibly excited about though, was the amazing response that we got
from the Scribd Community through the National Poetry Month: Community Collection.
139 poems were submitted!

There were poems of grief, longing, nostalgic poems about looking back at your life,
and even about writer’s block. With all these fantastic poems, it was very hard for us to
choose one favorite. So hard in fact, that we couldn’t decide. So we chose two! And
here they are:

Thank you, everyone, for your submissions. It’s so wonderful to be a part of the warm,
supportive and creative group that is the Scribd Community!
