Preface
This document shows the use of Heading numbers to format the headings of parts,chapters and sections. Please click a heading and look at its formatting near the top of your word processor (Microsoft Office Word or OpenOffice Writer). You should seethat the heading of Parts is associated with Heading 1; chapter headings are associatedwith Heading 2; and section headings are associated with Heading 3.
Part I: Formatting
Our platform can preserve headings, bold, italic, align, list, links and images. It alsoretains the basic table structure. If any formatting is missing, you can use our XHTMLeditor to edit the converted files.
Chapter 1:
 
Bold, Italic and Underline
Bold.
 Italic.
Underline should not be used because it could be confused with links and it has beendeprecated in XHTML.
