Paper Helicopter by Joshua 6gd

1. Playing / observing / inference

At the being we had to make a paper Helicopter then Mr. Glenn let us play with the Helicopter and see how it works.

2. Developing a question

Then we had to find a question to look further in. Mine was “Dose the number of paper clips affect the paper Helicopter”

3. Making a hypothesis

Then we had to make a hypothesis (a guess.) Mine was “What will make the paper Helicopter heavier.”

4. Creating a method / designing a fair test / collecting data

Then we had to make a way to test our Helicopter. I made five Helicopters. One had no paper clips; one had two paper clips than
on and on. We had to test it from a table or chair then after we had to test it out the top floor window.

5. Analyses our data (talk about the ‘what’)

Then we had to right up what we have done so far in our Thinking and Reflections book and in our U.O.L. book we had to take
notes.

6. Draw conclusions (why I think it happen, what I think it means)

Then we had to make a theory about our hypothesis. I think this happen because of the weight that is on the helicopter.

7. Create theories

Come to an answer for you hypothesis. When the helicopter has more weight it is harder to fly but when the helicopter holds
the correct amount is flies very well.

8. Retest

Starts are a new questions and hypothesis.

9. Recognizing the problem / having a wondering

Find a problem to test when you are done and start everything all over again and go to the top.
