Repent and be baptized, every one of you … (Acts 2:38)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23)
When he was insulted, he returned no insult; (1 Peter 2:23)
… I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved, (John 10:9)
Have you received comfort in time of trouble from Psalm 23?
Do you follow Jesus’ example (1Peter) by not returning violence or insult?
Does Jesus offer a radically different way from the way of the world?
How do we enter a different world?
Could the world be different?Hear my voice, for it is the voice of all victims of all wars and violence among individuals and nations;Hear my voice, for it is the voice of all children who suffer and will suffer when people put their faith in weap-ons and war;Hear my voice when I ask you to instill into the hearts of human beings the wisdom of peace, the strength of  justice, and the joy of fellowship;Hear my voice, for I speak for the multitudes in every country and in every period of history who do not wantwar and are ready to walk the road to peace;Hear my voice and grant insight and strength so that we may always respond to hatred with love, to injusticewith total dedication to justice, to need with the sharing of self, to war with peace.O God, hear my voice and grant unto the world your everlasting peace.Pope John Paul II,
 A Pilgrim Pope
