‘The developments during the past few months clearly show that the proposed
package for cooperation by the LR. Iran submitted three years ago, was based on
accurate comprehension of the realities. Respect for democracy and the rights of
the people and refraining from resorting to pressure instruments against the nations
are two fundamental pillars for cooperation.
What we witness today obviously proves that futile insistence of some
governments to confine unequal relations in the workd and confronting the will of
nations and protecting the ruling dictators, cannot be continued in order to acbieve
their goals and the future management of the world would be based on the will of
nations for their sclf-detern ination. A future where rationale would substitute force
and democracy would substitute tyrannical relations in the international system.

comprehensive und sustainable agreement for cooperation. This is the capacity that
in the last 3 years, the Islamic Republic of Iran with its goodwill presented to the
other negotiating parties. The proper engagement with it could bring the excellent
opportunities in order to establish “Peace, Justice and Prosperity” in the
international arena, 7
Respecting and complying with our agreement in Geneva 3 talks based on the
“talks for cooperation on the common grounds” could have been ended in a better
conclusions in Istanbul mecting. Now as it was stated at the end of the Istanbul
talks, such dialogues can cover a range of co operations on the common issues in
the economic, political and international ficlds. These talks could cover the most
important regional topics such as combating the root cause of terrorism, drug
trafficking, piracy in the high scas as well as enhancement of cooperation on
energy supply and security, and on significant intemational areas such as the
international norms and structures on different issues including the intemationat
efforts for nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation as well as cooperation for
peaceful uses of nuclear eneryy, assisting enhancement of nuclear safety and other
issues could be on the agenda of the future talks. As jt was the case in the past, the
Tslamic Republic of Iran is well prepared, while emphasizing on common grounds,
to establish cooperation grounds within a timeframe and to actively participate in a
constructive, beneficial and forward-looking dialogues.
Tam confident that relying on the just laws, respecting the inalienable and legal
rights of nations and moving based on logic would be the absolute solution to the
intemational misunderstandings and problems,
I hope the experience of the last few rounds of talks and your approach again
towards the talks would pave the way for a constructive and forward-looking
cooperation.
