ST. PAUL (AP) — Votes Wednesday as the Senate, on a 38-27 vote, approves putting a constitutional
amendment to prohibit gay marriage on the 2012 ballot. Voting yes were 37 Republicans and one
Democrat. Voting no were 27 Democrats.
