Wehad the enriching experience of going on Vision Quest along withElder and African Shona Healer,Mandaza Augustine Kandemwa.From our dock we paddled‘Lake Kawawaymog’ then downthe ‘Amable du Fond’ river into Algonquin Provincial Park. Ourtime together was magical as wewitnessed the ancestors speaking to us in the clouds, the brilliantsun setting in skies of pink, orangeand purple, the full moon rising over the mirrored lake, mist likeghosts floating up from the lake,lifting away what no longer servesus. We came together as one,singing, healing, praying andrejoicing in true companionship.Upon returning from this 4day experience, we were joined bymany others’ for the Peace andHealing Retreat, with Mandaza. We emptied ourselves preparing to become vessels for peace andhealing during a water ceremony. We entered the lake giving thanksfor all that supports us whileoffering ourselves to be of serviceto Spirit.cont page 2
Following theexperience we hadwith MandazaKandemwa many of our visitors haveembraced themessage and chosento act within their owncommunities. At thistime we are farmingthe Seeds of Changein our own back yards.
