May 12, 2011Re: 2 shots fired during forceful eviction of the resident at Caminito BasilioHis name is Randy. He's my neighbor and considered a friend, and he's a strange guy like alot of my friends.I live right next-door with my wife and two kids. He keeps to himself but is over at my house a few times a year for dinner and PlayStation 3. I know he's had an incredibly toughfew years after his father passed away, his health issues, employment issues and certainly avictim of the economy.I just saw him a few days ago as he wrote me a very intelligent affidavit for an upcomingcourt case I have to deal with another neighbors ridiculously barking Chihuahuas (7 othershave also provided affidavits but that another drama story for us Laguna HillBillies). The root of this evil is not a mortgage payment, rather his money grubbing dickwad of abrother who has been suing him over this residence since the father who owned the placepassed. After the shootings I immediately confronted him to see if Randy was OK or worse ... dead! This guy told me that he heardthat the tenant had a gun and shot at an officer and then a shot was fired back and the tenant was hurt but alive. The fact is, this guy, who was the closest non-officer to the scene besides myself and my wife,
