1. What is the newly discovered planet?

 It is officially called ERIS.

The new planet, initially identified as 2003 UB313 in October 2003 and dubbed Xena in
July 2005, is now officially named Eris.

Eris is the largest dwarf planet known, and it was discovered in an ongoing survey at
Palomar Observatory's Samuel Oschin telescope by astronomers Michael Brown
(Caltech), Chad Trujillo (Gemini Observatory), and David Rabinowitz (Yale University).

 THE GIST - A solar system with at least five planets is the largest exoplanetary
system ever found. The five detected planets are big, being the size of Neptune.
Two other planets may also be present. A total of 402 stars with planets have
been logged since the first was detected in 1995.

 space is important to study so people can go up there and explore it. Also it might
