Plymouth County 4-H held the annual 4-H Exhibit


Week April 18-22. 4-H Clubs participated and
helped to educate the public about their 4-H Clubs.
Below are a few photos from exhibit week. Thank

Teams

4-H Walk
Plymouth County 4-H Walk will be held May 13 at
the Cape Cod Canal from 5:30-7:30. Please join us
for an evening of healthy activities and a picnic
dinner. 4-H families are welcome to come, please

Goat Fitting and Showmanship Clinic

Hoof-n-Whiskers 4-H club will be hosting a 4-H


Fitting and Showmanship Clinic to assist the
Northeast Dairy Goat National Show Association in
bringing the National Show to the Northeast. The
clinic will be run by local dairy goat owners Briana
LaFoe from Fox’s Pride Dairy Farm and Beth
Corbett and Jen Abdelnour of Ladies Choice Farm.
The cost will be $10 per person and ALL proceeds
will go to the NDGNSA. A lunch of hamburgers
and hotdogs will be available for an additional $3.

Marshfield Fair 4-H Auction mvollmer@umext.umass.edu
We are looking for help with the planning and “Learn by Doing”
coordination of the 4-H Auction at the Marshfield
Fair. Please contact Molly Vollmer if you are
interested in helping the 4-H Fair Committee
organize this fundraising event. We are also
looking for donations of new items, gift certificates,
event tickets, etc for the auction. If you or your 4-H
club could help to collect and solicit donated items
it would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds from
the auction will go to the Plymouth County 4-H
Advisory Council for program support and
scholarships or 4-H programs at the Marshfield

Marshfield Fair 4-H Day


WEDNESDAY, August 24. Agricultural
Awareness/ 4-H Day will now be on Wednesday
during the Marshfield Fair. This is a change from
previous years, please plan ahead to participate in 4-
H activities this day.

4-H Day Activities will no longer have premiums


attached to the placing. 4-H’ers who participate
will receive ribbons for their participation and also
be invited to have a pizza dinner on 4-H day. NO
PREMIUMS WILL BE AWARDED. We hope to
have several 4-H’ers participate in this fun day.
The 4-H T-shirt contest, tractor contest, obstacle
course, costume parade and other activities will still
be offered.

The Marshfield Fair Exhibitor Handbook will no
longer be mailed to participants. All entry forms
and information will be available online at
