The purpose of the course is to study thecurrent cultural meaning of design-relatedactivities and how it is formulated, to exploreits relevance and significance, and study itspresence as the subject of the convergenceof the synergies of the flows forming thepresent state of reality in order to providestudents with the keys to defining and as-sessing modes of active and reactive culturalintervention. The following are the main objectives:– To enhance the creative and intellectualabilities of professionals trained in designwith regard to the understanding andconceptual structure of their own workand any other contemporary culturalmanifestation.– To encourage students to constructmethods of dealing with and reacting tothe synergies and events that define theimmediate state of the present.– To develop creative resources in studentsso they can propose new concepts,methods and strategies for reflection andcreation, which give their professionalwork more awareness of their interventionand action capacity in current social andcultural dynamics.
