Reflection Questions
1. Some available opportunities available this year where having Computer class and
Capstone. Computer class helped me improve my skills doing other classroom projects
and presentations. My Capstone class has helped me learn to look at the outside world
different; I did a project about a Fashion Show, based on Professional dress. Showing
what’s considered professional dress and what’s not when going to a job interview. I
believe both of these things will help me in the future.
2. I think I could use my Math and English strengths, because they can help me in the
future. When I’m out of High School and it’s time for me to take care of business life
after school, my English can help me when applying for a job and I get asked questions. I
can use my skills from English class. When I do get a job my Math strength can help me
to know I’m getting all the money I worked for.
3. Well my last obstacle is to pass all my classes, I’m a senior so I’m taking finals and
there’s not much more for me to do. I met all my goals, not just this year, but as a life
time. I survived these school years. I’m 18 and graduating from high school class of
2011.
4. During this class I learned how to make presentations look more interesting, and also
developed skills to keep the crowed interested. Like not talking too much about one
thing or having too much bunched up on one slide. In the future my major will be
Business and I know I’ll have to do a lot of presentations, so this will help me to achieve
my goal.
5. If I could do any assignment over I would do my Capstone project again. I feel like it was
a good and fun idea, but I don’t think I took it as serious as I should have. I had more
things to do in school besides that. But even during my free time I didn’t take my project
as serious as I should have. So if I had the opportunity to do it over, I would.
6. Pretty laid back.
7. I think my computer skills have improved over the course this year because; I use to
type more with my head down. Now I can look more at the screen to see if I’m typing
correct. Rather than to look up and see I made a mistake after I did all the typing. I also
noticed that I type faster than I did when I first took the course.
8. My lessons I learned where to get things turned in on time, and not to procrastinate. I
say this because I learned the hard way. During my senior year I turned in work when I
wanted to, which affected my grades many times. The times I decided to procrastinate it
had me rushing through my work and not actually doing my best also affecting my
grades. But I got better at turning papers in on time after a while.
