Lynnhaven River NOW and Tidewater Bicycle Association will host their third annual "Bayside
History Day Bike Tour" on Saturday, May 21st at 9 am until mid-to-late afternoon, held in
conjunction with Bayside Heritage Day. Enjoy a leisurely, family-paced bike ride while learning
about the history and ecology of the Lynnhaven River. Stops are planned for Church Point, Adam
Thoroughgood House, Ferry Plantation and Old Donation Church.

Instructor: Kim Herman
Let 1st Art be your first stop for education fun. Our experienced early childhood specialist has
designed a fun, age-appropriate curriculum based on a playful approach to art. The 1st Art
program engages our youngest artists and fosters learning by teaching fundamental motor skills,
increasing self-confidence, promoting awareness of the visual and tactile world, and by integrating
the senses. Students work on several topical projects and will finish at least one of them to take
home from each class. Expect a balance of drawing, painting and craft-based projects
