August 2008 jointly by Indian and Burmesewith the main objective to restore peace, justice, democracy and human rights in Burma.BCD has come into existence as a result of the great need to have sustained campaign inIndia.We all know that, India is the largest democracy in the world yet there have been very littleresponse to the restoration of Democracy in Burma. India and Burma also have shared historyyet as neighbor, instead of support, we are witnessing numerous establishments of relationships in different fields except supporting democracy.We formed BCD with the aim to raise consciousness in the mind of the people of India to acton Burma; to intervene for the restoration of democracy in Burma; to act as a concernneighbor and most importantly to do their duty as citizen of the world’s largest democracy.BCD aim to work very closely with the various Burmese organizations based in India inbuilding relationship with the people of India.
