Apostolic Grace Forming community

We will only repeat the last few weeks if God leads us to by the Holy Spirit

We are living in a progressive revelation of Coming out of an orphan Spirit into the Spirit
of Adoption

Malachi 4:6 (KJV 1900) — 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the
children, And the heart of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and smite the
earth with a curse.

Breaking the three lies

Breaking the curse of Malachi

Coming out of bondages

Be free from fears

Adopted as sons and daughters

Romans 8:14–15 (KJV 1900) — 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again
to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Inheritance

Jesus our brother

Our position

Our legal rights

We are moving from mimicking the words to truly becoming the words

five fold into Function fathers into State of being

So we are talking about Apostolic and fathering

both are relational

1
What is an apostolic community?
In Acts 2:1 Pentecost --- is coming--- Several anointings were poured out on the
church.

Actually all the gifts of spirit of 1 corth 12

All the fruit of the spirit of Gal 5

All the functions of the offices in Eph 6

Basically the full spiritual dimension of God which was later defined by Apostle Paul

This outpouring was to establish community…..Apostolic community

Acts 12:5 prayer came from the community to release Peter their spiritual father and
Apostle

Apostolic is relational over institutional

People join or align with relationships not structures

There are structure in Apostolic community but it is structure that is conducive to

relational growth and expression of freedom.

Romans 8:15 (KJV 1900) — 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage
again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry,
Abba, Father.

Liberty – living as one should not as one pleases

2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV 1900) — 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Galatians 5:13 (KJV 1900) — 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty;
only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Part of adoption is also freedom

2
It is not freedom as we think of it being free from sin

It is freedom from being in non relational community

Not a restoration of apostles but a restoration of apostolic

life in the church

Abandoning apostolic community is abandoning the grace of that community and

also the freedom it brings.

Awakening is Here
We are waiting to see the awakening but the awakening is already here

Revival is outward affecting inward and everyone sees the outward

immediately because it is gathered

Awakening is the inward affecting the outward and the outward and
everyone sees if gradually because it is scattered.
Awakening into apostolic life is the aligning of relationships

1. If relationships are not intact there is no apostolic grace like the early church
2. We end up having relationships with institutions
a. Institutions are competitive
b. Selfish ambition
c. Controlling
d. Measured by worldly standards ---- numerical participation not heart
change

3
Some have already been awakened out of slumbering institutional settings

They are frustrated because of the lack of community

 They are forerunners

 They are visionaries
 They reflect commitment to the cause of the kingdom
 They have suffered and sacrificed
 They are called to be an apostolic church that release special grace

Community requires a special grace

Acts 4:32 (KJV 1900) — 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one
heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he
possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

There was a distinct fruit produce of community

1. There was those filled to the full of the spirit

2. They were committed
3. They trusted God
4. They had convictions
5. They were of one heart
6. They were of one soul
7. They were relationally connected in common.

Multitude = plethois -- we get the word plenty – greater number – RT the filled, or
to be filled to the full

Believed = “commit unto” four times, “commit to (one’s) trust” once, “be committed
unto” once, “be put in trust with” once, “be commit to one’s trust” once, and “believer”
once. 1 to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in. 1A of the
thing believed. 1A1 to credit, have confidence. 1B in a moral or religious reference. 1B1
used in the NT of the conviction and trust to which a man is impelled by a certain
inner and higher prerogative and law of soul. 1B2 to trust in Jesus or God as able to
aid either in obtaining or in doing something: saving faith. 1BC mere acknowledgment of
some fact or event: intellectual faith. 2 to entrust a thing to one, i.e. his fidelity. 2A to be
intrusted with a thing.

RT – trustworthy and reliable

4
Believe is not the same as believing God for something but is … a state of being

Community is not a function but a heart attitude

One heart = singular spiritual life

One soul= singular feeling and desire

All = the whole, referring to people collectively not numerically

(Collectively is relational ---numerical is institutional)

Common = brotherly love that relinquishes ownership for the

sake of others.
(esteeming others lives and ministries)

 This commonality was what the Greek society was striving for in
that day.

 The outpouring of the Spirit created what all men desired and
were working for.

 A relational community
------------------------------------------------------------

The apostles Witness was produced from Lives that were

dead!

5
Acts 4:33 (KJV 1900) — 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

The apostles presented the resurrection with more than words but with power

Power = dunamias --- the nature of God, the power of the nature and virture of God

Gave = “pay” nine times, “give” nine times, “render” nine times, “reward” seven times,
“sell” three times, “yield” twice, and translated miscellaneously nine times. 1 to deliver,
to give away for one’s own profit what is one’s own, to sell. 2 to pay off, discharge what
is due. 2A a debt, wages, tribute, taxes, produce due. 2B things promised under oath.
2C conjugal duty. 2D to render account. 3 to give back, restore. 4 to requite,
recompense in a good or a bad sense.

Great = Megas – mega - 1A of the external form or sensible appearance of things

(or of persons). 1A1 in particular, of space and its dimensions, as respects. 1A1A mass
and weight: great. used of intensity and its degrees: things esteemed highly for
their importance: splendid, prepared on a grand scale, things which overstep the
province of a created being, proud (presumptuous) things, full of arrogance,
derogatory to the majesty of God.

Grace – Charis – charisma – a holy influence upon souls that turns them to God
and brings change in their life.

“The apostles released the nature of God and restored back

to those who were filled, committed, trustworthy and reliable
the nature and virtue of God that favor and the ability for
change came upon every person to the place they valued
each other’s calling and saw it greater than their own, to the
point of removal of natural obstacles through the release of
ownwership and brotherly love.”

6
Apostolic is not what we do but a state of being
It is the internal foundation settled then the outward function displayed

We are unlocking institutionized things to be free

The spirit of anti Christ is fighting us

We are unlocking
1. Doctrine and revelation
2. Worship and expression
3. Experiences of spiritual dimensions
4. The messengers of the message

Apostolic brings freedom over institutional

Relational community producing freedom

You can leave an apostolic community and still remain institutionalized

Any place that you are not free is a place you might be institutionalized

We give our hearts to something.

“Out of the abundance our heart speaks”

“Where treasure is there is your heart”

Relational community means you have given your heart to father God and then to
the fathers of that community.

The early church gave their hearts not just their bodies or minds

Institutional --- we want bodies ---- we want minds

Apostolic --- we want relationship

7
There is not example in the bible of institutions except the religious structures opposing
Jesus

The anti Christ is the religious systems of the world taking the place of Christ and
demanding your heart

Relational Authority enables inheritance to come

So it is not institutional authority but relational authority

Jesus authority flowed from the father and created his spiritual inheritance

Hebrews 3:1–6 (KJV 1900) — 1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the

heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ
Jesus; 2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful
in all his house. 3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses,
inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. 4
For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. 5 And
Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those
things which were to be spoken after; 6 But Christ as a son over his own house;
whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope
firm unto the end.

Jesus was both a high priest after the order of Melchisedec

Jesus was also an apostle and functioned as one

John the Baptist baptized Jesus as a priest in the order of Melchisedec at the
Jordan

Jordan means === descender ,

represented the place of death ---- and change

God was bring an end to the old priesthood and finally establishing a new
priesthood after Melchisedec

8
The priesthood would experience both death and change

“This is my beloved son in who I am well pleased”

Beloved is a term of heritage and family and Paul used it

A term of endearment

The fathers heart was turned at that moment towards his son and the Son turned
to the fathers because Jesus had stepped into the will of the father.

The Father APOLSTOLLOS his son and sent him into the world

 Jesus was appointed or commissioned to prepare the offering of

the sacrifice as an apostle as he comes to the earth --- function

 Jesus was also commissioned or appointed to be that sacrifice

as well – the heart
 So he was the sacrifice and the presenter of the sacrifice

If Jesus was not a son to the father then we would not experience
salvation
Function comes from the heart not the mind saying this is what I must do

Submission is not institutional law but relational community

1. Apostles carry all authority of the ones who sends them

2. Not my will but the one who sent (apostelo) me

What God is doing is bring us into a state of being as sons

and daughters so we can be reestablished as an apostolic
church
 Apostolic community reflects not self but another
 Apostolic community reflects the will of the one who sent them
 Apostolic community reflects total willingness and complete surrender

We must first be sons to the father or we will not carry the authority of
the father

9
Full sacrifice ==== produces full authority

As a ministry we suffer through discouragement brought by people

disappointing us we are moving into greater authority.
Love and trust are elements in us that allow God to deposit authority

It is the father giving his heart to the sons

So it is the sons giving their hearts to the fathers

Acts 15:16 (KJV 1900) — 16 After this I will return, and will build again
the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again
the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

The tabernacle of David God will build is relational community of fathers who
have given their hearts to their sons and sons who have given their hearts to their
fathers.

This will cause the outcast ones to come because the spirit of adoption is
present.

The expression of community will be seen and be the draw

Not the function of institutional Christianity
