More than 20 Academic Radiology Departments, including twelveDepartment Chairs, provided detailed research posters depicting cutting-edge imaging research at their institution. Guests enjoyed wine, hors

an ice cream bar as they networked and read the researchposters. For many Members and staff, it was their first opportunity tomeet Chairs

. Academicresearch Chairs and patient advocates were easily identified by their largelanyard name tags that clearly stated their name, state and Universityaffiliation or name and patient advocacy group.Guest speakers included Martha Nolan, Vice President for the Society for
Women’s Health Research, James Jorkasky, Executive Director for the National
Alliance for Eye and Vision Research and Sheila Ross from the Lung CancerAlliance, also a lung cancer survivor.
