1 yard of Tip Toe (MCO7) in pink/gray


1 yard of Rhythmic Toss (MC06) in pink/black
Needle
Thread
4” Styrofoam Ball (available at craft stores)
Vase (pick one that fits the Styrofoam ball)
Pins

Instructions:
1 Cut each yard of fabric in half lengthwise so that you have 4 pieces that are 21” by 36”.
2 Cut strips that are 4” wide and 21” long. You should end up with 36 strips.
3 Fold strip in half wrong sides facing so that you have a strip that is 2” wide by 21” long.
4 Tuck ends inside so that the seams are finished.
5 Baste stitch ¼” from the bottom. Make about 2 - 3 stitches per inch.
6 Gather the fabric by pushing the fabric towards the knotted end. The fabric will form into a
rolled shape.
7 Starting at one end, roll into a tight flower shape, slipping stitching the layers as you go.
8 Once all flowers are finished, place Styrofoam ball into the vase. Add flowers to the
Styrofoam ball starting at the bottom. Use pins to secure the flowers to the ball.
