Print pattern pieces.
2
Cut out fabric.
3
Fold Piece A in half lengthwise, with the right sides of thefabric facing each other. Pin along the edge. Sew a ½“seam along the edge to form a tube.
4
Turn the tube right-side-out. Press flat so that the seam isin the middle of the back side of the tube.
5
Top stitch along the length of tube ¼” from each edge.
6
Cut a piece of elastic that is 6 ½“ long. Using a pen, make a mark ¾” from each end of the elastic.
7
Place ¾“ of the elastic into one end of the tube i.e.up to the pen marking. Make sure that the elastic is inthe middle of the tube – there should be 1” on either side of the elastic. Pin in place. Secure the elastic to thetube by stitching in the vertical direction and then thehorizontal direction to form a cross.

12
Take the loose end of the elastic and place ¾“ of theelastic (i.e. up to the marking on the elastic) into thetube. As in step 7, secure the elastic to the tubeby stitching in the vertical direction and then thehorizontal direction to form a cross.
13
As in step 9, fold the edge of the tube over the elasticand press. Then fold it back halfway and press. Repeaton the other side.
