2011 Brandywine Farm ES Gathering Schedule and Rules
The Gathering will be held at both the Lancaster Township Community Center/BauderPark and Brandywine Farm. The east edge of Bauder Park adjoins Brandywine Farm.Please park at the Community Center unless directed otherwise. Parking is limited atthe farm. If we fill the parking lot, you can park on the park lawn on the lane leading tothe farm, facing in towards the ballfield. Stay close to the lane.Please use the bathroom facilities at the Community Center whenever possible. Ourseptic isn

We will have recycling bins for metal/plastics, paper, and cardboard, and a chickenfood/compost bucket for ALL food scraps. Please use the appropriate receptacles.There is a leash rule for the park. If dogs from the Gathering end up in neighbors

.No flexi-leads, please. We will enforce that safety rule.We have rented the park, but please give any local children precedence over dogs onthe small playground. The dogs can play there when there are no kids.Please do not play fetch or other exciting games, or brandish toys, in or near groups ofdogs you do not know. There is plenty of fetch space away from the center of activity. Ifthere is a dog fight, the guy throwing the ball is

at fault.Your trained dog can enjoy off-leash time at Brandywine Farm whenever you wish. Youare responsible for the cost of any poultry your dog injures or kills. If your dog is notabsolutely poultry-compliant, do not allow him off-leash near the barns and house, andkeep a sharp eye out for guinea fowl in the outer fields. If your dog is not trained, don
