Yuvraj made his

One Day International debut against Kenya at Nairobi in 2000, at the ICC KnockOut

Trophy. He showed his potential in his second ODI which was against the Australians where he scored a
quickfire 84 off 82 balls against a quality pace attack consisting of Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Jason
Gillespie.[8] However, after a lean run of form, he was dropped for the one-dayers against Australia in
India in early 2001,[9] but returned later in the year and helped India win a match in Sri Lanka with an
unbeaten 98

One of his most memorable innings was a partnership with Mohammad Kaif in theNatWest Series final
against England in July 2002 which led India to victory.[11] He was selected for and represented India at
the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He scored his firstcentury in his fourth season with the Indian team
against Bangladesh in 2003. After that he also scored hundreds against Zimbabwe and Australia,
including a 139 off 119 balls at theSydney Cricket Ground.[12] In the Indian Oil Cup 2005, he made 110 (off
114 balls) (his third century) and an important partnership worth 165 runs with Mohammad Kaif, to
become the man of the match against West Indies in the last match of the round robin league.

Yuvraj made his Test debut against New Zealand in Mohali in late 2003 in front of his home crowd
in Punjab due to the absence of regular captain Sourav Ganguly in the No. 6 position.[12] He was omitted
upon Ganguly's return but got another opportunity in the Test team in the 2004 Tour to Pakistan, when
Ganguly was again injured. He scored his first Test century in a losing effort against Pakistan in the
second Test atLahore.

On 19 September 2007 against England in the ICC World Twenty20 Super 8 match held at Kingsmead in
Durban, he hit 6 sixes in an over up against Stuart Broad. This helped him to reach the fastest fifty ever in
Twenty20 game, off just 12 balls and also the fastest in any form of international cricket. [23][24][25] This was
the fourth time that six sixes had been hit in one over in senior cricket, the first time in Twenty20 cricket,
and the first time in any form of international cricket against a bowler from a test playing nation. (Garfield
Sobers and Ravi Shastri did it in first class matches, and Herschelle Gibbs did it in a 2007 Cricket World
Cup match against Dutch bowler Daan van Bunge.) He has also hit the longest six of the tournament:119
meters off of Australian bowler Brett Lee and currently is the world's leading 20-20 batsman in terms of
strike rate

Harbhajan made his Test and One Day International (ODI) debuts in early 1998. His career was initially
beset by investigations into the legality of his bowling action and disciplinary incidents that raised the ire
of cricket authorities. However in 2001, with leading leg spinnerAnil Kumble injured, Harbhajan's career
was resuscitated after Indian captain Sourav Ganguly called for his inclusion in the Border-Gavaskar
Trophy team. In that series victory over Australia, Harbhajan established himself as the team's leading
spinner by taking 32wickets, becoming the first Indian bowler to take a hat trick in Test cricket.[1]

A finger injury in mid 2003 sidelined him for much of the following year, allowing Kumble to regain his
position as the first choice spinner.

Harbhajan was born into a middle class Punjabi family. He is the only son of Sardar Sardev Singh, a
businessman who owned a ball bearing and valve factory.[2][3] Growing up with five sisters, Harbhajan was
in line to inherit the family business, but his father insisted that he concentrate on his cricket career and
represent India.[3]
Harbhajan was trained as a batsman by his first coach Charanjit Singh Bhullar, but converted to spin
bowling after his coach's untimely death saw him turn to the tutelage of Davinder Arora. Arora credits
Harbhajan's success to a work ethic that included a three hour training session in the morning, followed
by an afternoon session lasting from 3 pm until after sunset.
With Kumble injured before the home series in March 2001 against the visiting Australians, [34]Harbhajan,
whose previous best Test figures were only 3/30,[19] was the only capped spinner in the Indian team for
the First Test.[35] He had been recalled after captain Sourav Ganguly publicly called for his inclusion in the
team. He was to lead the spin attack against an Australian team which had set a world record with 15
consecutive Test victories, and was searching for its first ever series victory on Indian soil since 1969.[34]
[36]
In a warm-up match for India A, Harbhajan had taken 2/63 and 3/81 against the tourists

nitially recognized as an extravagantly flamboyant and destructive batsman, Dhoni has come to be
regarded as one of the coolest heads to captain the Indian ODI side. Under his captaincy, India won the
2007 ICC World Twenty20, CB Series of 2007–08 , the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2008 and 2010
against Australia 2–0 and 2011 Cricket World Cup in which India beat every previous world cup winning
team. His Test, ODI record is best among all the Indian captains to date. He also captained Chennai
Super Kings to victory in the recent IPL 2010 and in the Champions League. He is now captain of India in
all three forms of the game and also led the team to their first ever bilateral ODI series wins in Sri
Lanka and New Zealand. Under Dhoni's captaincy India became the first team after a gap of more than
20 Years to whitewash Australia in a Test series. Dhoni also led the Indian team to the number one
position in ICC rankings in Test cricket for the first time.

with his wicket-keeping skills and became the regular wicketkeeper at the Commando cricket club (1995–

The Indian team in the 2000s saw the use of Rahul Dravid as the wicket-keeper to ensure that the wicket-
keeper spot didn't lack in batting talent.[26] The Indian cricket establishment also saw the entry of wicket-
keeper/batsmen from the junior ranks with talents like Parthiv Patel and Dinesh Karthik – both India U-19
Captains in the test squads.[26] With Dhoni making a mark in the India-A squad, he was picked in the ODI
squad for the Bangladesh tour in 2004/05.[28] Dhoni did not have a great start to his ODI career,
getting run out for a duck on debut

Who would have thought it would come to this?

As it becomes so obvious people are so ruthless
The people? All people? No, it's just them
They are the one's who we condemn
Wow, it's Wednesday again!

They are full of it, you must admit

On TV, in traffic, headlines...I'm sick of it
And I blame them, I cannot pretend
Buck stops here is the message we must send.
Better notice, it's Wednesday again!

It keeps getting worse how far will it go?

'till it hits bottom, that's all I know
Reveal the wrongs before we can mend
These are the wounds we must tend
You know, it's Wednesday again!

Time is of the essence, as it moves fast

Before you know it another day has passed
Move swift and sure will make this end
Against those who feel rules should bend
Take note, it's Wednesday again!

Don't blame the carrier of the message of time

Not to notice it's speeding up is the crime
Initially it is difficult to comprehend
Your mind denies it as a gift to lend
Yes, you're right, it's Wednesday again!

So the time is right for you to be angry

Become empowered and a Consumer Vigilante!
New game, higher level...hit 'em in the back end
Power back to the people is what I contend
Oh me, Oh my, it's Wednesday again!
