ADAM :Assalamualaikum, Shahmi. I’m glad to have you

as my classmate again

this year. How are you after our school holiday?

SHAHMI:Waalaikumsalam, Adam. I’m also glad to be your

classmate again. I’m

fine. Thank you. So, how was your holiday?

ADAM :Alhamdulillah. It was great!

SHAHMI:Wow! Sound interesting. Where did you go?

ADAM :My family and I went to Malacca. It was my first

visit to the Historical

City. My father drove us to Malacca.

SHAHMI:Tell me something about Malacca. I’ve never been

there.
ADAM :When we arrived in Malacca, the first place
visited by us was

Al- Khawarizmi Astronomy Complex in Masjid

Tanah.

SHAHMI:What had you learn from the visit?

ADAM :I had the opportunity to learn about astronomy.

Then we went to

A’Famosa Animal World Safari. We watched the

amazing wildlife.

There was also an excellent cowboy show.

SHAHMI:Where did you stay in Malacca?

ADAM :We stayed in Bayview Hotel Malacca. The next

day, we spent our time

riding trishaw and visited the Historical City.

SHAHMI:Did you manage to visit all the interesting places

in one day?

ADAM :Of course not! My family spent more than two

days in the city alone.
SHAHMI:So, your visit to Malacca has made you a
historian!

ADAM :Not really. Among the historical heritage in

Malacca City was Porta de

Santiago or better known as A’ Famosa.

SHAHMI:I heard Malacca had five famous warriors. Did you

have a chance to

visit their mausoleum?

ADAM :I only had a chance to visit Hang Jebat and Hang

Kasturi’s mausoleum

because they were located in the city.

SHAHMI:Besides the Historical City, what are the other

places visited during

your stay in Malacca?

ADAM :We went to Mini Malaysia, Mini ASEAN but the

great experiences

were River Cruise Tours along the Melaka River

at night and a chance

to ride a smelly bullock cart.

SHAHMI:Wow! I think insyallah I will ask my parents to
choose Malacca as our

next destination.
