Telling Your Story
“Passion is lited rom the earth itsel by the muddy hands o the young;it travels along grass-stained sleeves to the heart. “
Richard Louv Author, Last Child in the Woods
Think o your blog as a place to capture your amily adventures and memories or years to come, while being ableto share them with others today. A simple way to start is by posting photos o a recent nature outing, with short cap-tions. You may fnd that, once you get going, you have more that you want to share. Don’t be araid to experiment. There are many ways to tell your story and everyone has their own unique storytelling voice. You can tell the story rom your perspective or encourage the whole amily to contribute and participate. Ask amilymembers: What did you like the best? What did you see, hear or touch? What would you like to remember? What doyou want others to know? Include children in telling the stories in age-appropriate ways. Younger children can tell youhow they elt and you can type it in. Older children can add their own photos and blog entries.
