UNDERSTANDING
PASSOVER
(OLDPASSOVER &NEWPASSOVER)
Based on the scriptures.. NOT on “Christianity’s Doctrine”
(Protestant’s LORD’s Supper & Catholicism’s Eucharistic Mass)

CELEBRATING PASSOVER IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.
Matthew 26 - Luke 22

On the first day of the
Festival of Unleavened Bread
,
on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed
. The disciples came to Jesus and asked,
“Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”
Jesus sent Peter and John, saying,
“Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near.I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’
They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.
The
‘Last Supper’/‘LORD’s Supper’
is actuallyPASSOVERsupper.
While in Catholicism, it is called
‘Eucharistic Mass.’
There is
NO
such thing as
‘Last Supper’
nor
‘LORD’s Supper’
found in the scriptures.Such words are just written by men as a ‘title.’‘Last supper/LORD’s supper’ nor ‘Eucharistic Mass’ will not make any senseunless you understand the
TRUE MEANING
&
SIGNIFICANCE
of
PASSOVER.
What is the history of Jewish Passover? Why is it celebrated?
THE PLAN: SAVE ISRAELITES OUT OF EGYPT, THE LAND OF SLAVERYand bring them to a rich & abundant land, wherein they did not work for.
Exodus 11 & 12
Now the LORD had said to Moses,
“I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely.
About midnight I will go throughout Egypt.Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, tothe firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle aswell. There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will beagain.
But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.
Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.
THEOLDPASSOVER
Exodus 12
On that same night I will
 pass through
Egypt and
strike dow
n every firstborn of bothpeople and animals, and I will
bring judgment
on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.
The
blood
will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the
blood
I willpass overyou.
No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.
PASSOVER.. Pass Over.. Passing from Death to Life.
And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you,
What mean ye by this service?
That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the
LORD's passover
,
who passed over the housesof the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.

The LORD
passed over
the houses of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians & delivered their houses. The LORD
makes a distinction
between Egypt and Israel.The
LORD saved
Israel from the plague of the first born.
“..The
blood
will be a sign for you on the houses where you are..”What is this blood?
Exodus 12
Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the
Passover lamb
.Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin a
nd put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe.
None of you shall go out of the door of your house until morning.
When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians,
he will see the blood
on the top and sides of the doorframe
and will pass over that doorway,
 and
he will not permit

the destroyer
to enter your houses and strike you down.
It is thebloodof thePassover lamb. But this is not just any ordinary lamb, the LORD hasHis own standards & requirements for thisPassover lamb.
