Product Description:

The market is full of Biocides but none has the wide range of action, or is completely
natural in it’s origins as Byo-Protect, developed in joint venture with Cerowa, Conreo
Texas.

Byo-Protect is an organic compound, made out of citrus seed, is fully digestible by

human beings, and leaves behind no environmental hazard. It operates in water
solutions and dispersions of both synthetic and natural polymers.

Byo-Protect doubles up as an antioxidant, and a very effective control of bacteria,

viruses and fungus, including the avian flu virus. .

Advantages:

♦ Controls a wide range of fungus, bacteria. And viruses, including the avian flu

♦ Acts upon contact, breaking the cellular walls of the microorganisms
♦ If used as directed, does not affect flavor or aroma.
♦ It is not damaged by freezing it, and will stand temperatures up to 225 ºC.
♦ Is not affected by ultraviolet light
♦ When it is to be used in a highly Basic environment, either dilutes it in water or
use the Byo-Protect with a ph ‘0’...

Principal properties when used:

1. - Temperature range of Byo-Protect.

At 225 º C maintains its bactericide prowess, when blended at the
recommended proportions.
Never go over 265 º C. It might degrade and expel fumes.

2. - Action time:
10 minutes on coli form bacteria principally.

3.- Chemicals with negative impact:

Incompatible with iron, ferrous sulfate, lead, and free chlorine, as it diminishes
it’s bactericide strength.

4.- How it affects the environment

If used within the recommended temperature range, it has no effect on the
environment as it is 100% bio-degradable.

5.- Does it affect waters going into sewage systems?

No as it is 100% bio-degradable.

6.- Equipment corrosion:

It will not affect stainless steel equipment, as it is also an antioxidant.
