iPaper is a versatile application by Scribdthat enables you to embed documents into your website or blog. With this easy-to-usetool, you can embed documents in anumber of formats, such as PDF, Worddocument, PowerPoint or text file. Youcan make a document public or private,email it to a friend, embed Google Adsense ads to earn revenue, andeven bookmark it and share it on social networks such as MySpace andFaceBook. Read on to learn how to embed Scribd iPaper Documentsinto a Blog. We'll use blogger as an example for how to do this, but thesame method can be used for any other blog.
Embed Scribd iPaper Documents into Your Blog
Sign up for an account at the Scribd Home page(See Resources below). Log into your account.Click on the "Upload" button at the top of thepage. Next, click on the button labeled "Click toUpload" on the next page.Browse for the file you want to upload andembed in your blog. Click on "Open." On thenext page, enter a description and tags if desired.Click on the blue button labeled "Publish." Thiswill take you to your uploaded document.Click on the Scribd iPaper drop-down menu, rightabove your document. Click on "Embed Codes."Select from the two options*The first option:"URL Link" provides the direct link to theiPaper on Scribd.*The second option: "EmbedCode" contains the block of script that you willembed into your blog. Click on the "Copy" button, which will place thecode onto your clip board.(Alternatively, click on the "Embed" icon thatis right above your document to copy and paste the code).Log into your Blogger account. Open the post you want to embedthe iPaper into, or create a new post. Click the tab to switch toHTML mode. Press "Control + V," which will paste the code into your blog. (for Macs, press Command + V)Click on "Publish" and in a few seconds, theiPaper document will be embedded. When youclick on "View" you will find your embeddediPaper document displayed.
