Photography competition at the Southern Arts Society

Theme ­ “Summer in the City”
The public is invited to submit, members and non­members alike...

Please, all submissions should reflect the theme of the show, “Summer in the City”
mininum frame size is 10x10 with an image size of 8x8
maxium frame size is 30x40.....
Photography, printed in any fashion, manipulation is acceptable but the image must be reconizeable 
as photography.  However, NO clip­in image frames will be accepted. Frames with or without glass 
are okay, but be concious of your risk without glass... NO fuzzy, non­glare scored  protection 
material accepted. We do not insure works on property, please use your own insurance for all pieces 
if you deem necessary.  

Max 3 images per person
To enter three images a fee of $30.00 non­member........ $25.00 for SASi members 

The judge, yet to be decided as of this posting with money prizes, usually 1st ­3rd  place and 3­5 
merit awards total for the show with an amount not exceeding $250.00 for an individual... 

Please bring entries by the Kings Mountain, NC Depot at 301 N. Piedmont Ave. The weekend of 
August 6th and 7th , thats  Saturday after 10:00am  and Sunday after 1:00pm and before 5:00pm both.
Show begins August 14th Public reception  is August 21st 1:00­4:00pm, annoncing winners 2:00 pm 
at the reception...   
Please pick up all work the weekend of the 24th Images left for 30 days after become OUR property 
to use and dispose of as we wish...

Commissions taken on all pieces sold regardless of asking price..a sold piece must remain on 
display throughout the entire event.
