As we wrap up our 10th year at The Eagle RanchSchool, I am once again humbled that God hasprovided me with the distinct privilege to workwith over 250 students and their families. Neverbefore in my career—as a teacher and administra-tor in both public and private school settings—haveI witnessed the type of growth in students that Ihave seen here. Through Christ’s love demonstrat-ed by the support and accountability of the EagleRanch staff, students are able to make tremendousacademic and social strides. The Eagle Ranch School operates as a true community where studentsare able to risk, grow, and gain the courage and confidence needed tosucceed in their next phase of life. Just recently, we asked the studentsto reach beyond themselves and serve others by engaging in a varietyof service projects. Our 9th grade class hosted over 100 students from alocal elementary school, teaching them about lake ecology and takingthem on a hike on our school’s nature trail. It was a joy to see ourstudents display leadership skills beyond their years as they impartedtheir knowledge about science to younger children. The students enrolled at The Eagle Ranch School have all struggledin many areas of their lives. It is an honor to walk along side them asthey begin to succeed and give back to others in ways that they did notpreviously think was possible. Thank you for your continued supportand for allowing us the privilege of witnessing God’s redemption in thelives of hurting children and their families.
