ISSUES AND EXISTING CONDITIONSAbout the Project
 The Houston Bikeway Program, withinthe Department of Public Works andEngineering, is partnering with the Houston-Galveston Area Council to conduct abicyclist-pedestrian study of the Clear LakeArea.The focus of the study is to developpriorities to address the safety and mobilityneeds of pedestrians and bicyclists withinthe Clear Lake area of Houston as fundingbecomes available. The limits of the studyarea are El Dorado and Space CenterBoulevards to the north and northeast, IH-45 to the west, and NASA Road One in theSouth.
