Next week I'm reporting about a recent e-mail exchange I had with Gena Gates, Executive Director of the ARC's East Shoreline chapter in Bay City, Michigan. (The material should be self-explanatory, but if not, please feel free to ask any questions.) Viewable on Scribd: http://scr.bi/l5EMzo Direct download: http://www.divshare.com/download/15008712-841 Based on Ms. Gates's failure to respond to the question in my May 13 e-mail, my understanding is that the ARC does not intend to send a letter to the editor of the Bay City Times or to request a published clarification. If my understanding is incorrect, please advise by end of the day Tuesday June 7. Thanks for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Peter M. Ms. Gates confirmed that the East Shoreline Chapter will not be submitting a letter to the editor of the Bay City Times regarding this matter. The intent of the chapter was to recognize Ms. Irish for her selfless, heroic actions of helping someone in need and for saving the gentlemans life. We do not intend to diminish the efforts of Ms. Irish by asking clarification of exactly what skills she performed that day.
