This is a compilation of several translations. I found some of them on the Web, and weknow that what we find there is not always perfect. Obviously some of them areincomplete. I may also have made some mistakes in the process.The great variations between these documents illustrates one more time the Italianproverb: “Traduttore - Traditore”, or as I heard once during a dharma talk, this timeabout translations of Genjokoan : “Translations are like mistresses, the most beautiful oneare usually not the more faithful…” I believe a comparative study of the different versions can help us better understandsome of the not so clear aspects of this text…1.
