About the Author

Rachel Rubin Wolf is a freelance writer, editor and artist. She has acquired and edited many books for North Light, including those in the Splash: Best of Watercolor and Strokes of Genius: Best of Drawing series. She is also the author of Painting the Many Moods of Light; Painting Ships, Shores and the Sea; and The Acrylic Painter’s Book of Styles and Techniques. Wolf studied painting and drawing at the Philadelphia College of Art and the Kansas City Art Institute, and she received her B.F.A from Temple University.
