Dr. Orly Taitz ESQ 29839 Santa Margarita ste 100 Rancho Santa Margarita CA 92688 Attn Judge Guilford RE request for leave of court to file a notice of appeal On 06.15.2011 this court issued an order, that prior to filing of any document, every party needs to seek a leave of court prior to filing any motions or other documents in this case. Therefore, Defendant "Defend Our Freedoms foundation" requests the leave of court to file a notice of appeal of Judge Guilford's order denying Defendants motion to dismiss based upon Californias Anti-SLAPP statute. Good cause exists for filing a notice of appeal because California Code of Civil Procedure sections 425.16(i) and 904.1(a)(13) provide that an order granting or denying a motion under Californias AntiSLAPP statute is immediately appealable. (Goldstein v. Ralphs Grocery Co. (2004) 122 Cal.App.4th 229, 233, 19 Cal.Rptr.3d 292) Defendant believes that the Anti-SLAPP motion made a sufficient prima facie showing that Plaintiffs claims arose out of statements that were made before executive and judicial proceedings or were made in a public forum in connection with an issue of public interest. Defendant further believes that Plaintiffs have failed to meet their burden to provide evidence to support a judgment in their favor. Respectfully,
/s/ Dr. Orly Taitz ESQ on behalf of the "Defend our freedoms foundation"
