Alhamdulillah bersyukur kita kehadrat Ilahi kerana bermula 18 April lalu telah bermula satu tradisi turun temurun kita sempurnakan Minggu Bahasa dan Warisan Budaya. Pada hari ini kita tutup acara dengan junjungan sirih dan bunga manggar pelengkap budaya. Untuk makluman para hadirin, Minggu Bahasa dan Warisan Budaya menyajikan pelbagai acara dan pertandingan antaranya pertandingan congkak dan batu seremban,

penghasilan folio novel komsas, pertandingan menulis esei, gubahan bunga dan lipatan kain, pertandingan sketsa dan mestamu, eksplorasi bahasa, teka silang kata serta pertandingan sudut kreatif bahasa dan budaya melayu.

A very good morning to the principal of Sekolah Menengah Vokasional Kuala Kangsar, Encik Hamid bin Jumhari, the Senior Assistant Encik Abdul Rahim bin Jailani, the senior assistant for students affairs puan salmi binti rafie, the senior assistant for cocurricular activities encik rosly bin ahmad ramly, senior teachers, fellow teachers and dear students. Today mastering the English language has become an essential for the students to enter the real world. Thus, the English language panel of sekolah menengah vokasional kuala kangsar has devised and carried out a number of activities last april 2011. The programme started on 4th april 2011 and ended on 15th april 2011. And here we are today, to witness the closing ceremony of English language week 2011. Hadirin sekalian, Begitulah tadi persembahan multimedia yang memaparkan pelbagai aktiviti dan pertandingan sempena Minggu Bahasa dan Warisan Bangsa serta English yang telah berlangsung sepanjang bulan April yang lalu. Semoga pada tahun hadapan sambutannya akan lebih meriah dan pelbagai lagi. Now is the moment that we have been waiting for. General quiz, have tested the knowledge of the students about the information on smvkk. There are 3 winners identified for this competition. The 3rd place goes to Muhammad hanif from 5ee2 The runner up is siti rohani bt sudarno from 5 bak And the winner for the general quiz competition is Izzatun ikmal bt zulkifli from 5 bb The next activity that tested the students language power is the word maze. Another 3 winners have been identified and will be awarded today for this competition. The third place for word maze competition goes to azlan shah b abdul talib. From 4ppu The runner up is nor syaza huda bt rahiman from 5 bak And the winner is ahmad sahiruzaini b ahmad shaharudin from 5 auto. Word search is another useful activity that can be conducted in language classrooms. This activity is the integration of newspaper in education. There are 5 pairs of winners identified for this competition. The fifth prize goes to amira farzana bt ahmad and nurlaily natelia muhd

Naming E. R is an interesting activity where students were choices to suggest a name for the English language room. The best name for the room is suggested by Muhd muamin from 4 auto. English corners have been set up in every classroom throughout the English week. This is to encourage students to have a mini library of their own and encourage the reading habit. The most beautifully set up English corner prize for the form 5 category goes to 5 auto. The prize for the form 4 category goes to 4 kfl. (Representatives please come forward to receive your prizes.) Now the 6th competition held during the English week was the spell it right competition. This competition has challenged the students spelling accuracy and brushed up on their vocabularies. Now the third prize for this competition goes to puteri najihah from 4 bakeri. The runner up is aqilah from 5ppk And the winner for this activity is liana Natasha from 4 ppn. One of the language competitions that trained students to be cooperative and to build up team work is the treasure hunt. There are 4 teams identified as the winners. The third place goes to 2 teams. The leaders of the 2 respective teams are nurhayati from 5 katering and nur nisa iman from 5 sk. The members of these groups are
