INVERTER
Introduction
This report focuses on DC to AC power inverters, which aim to efficiently transform a DC power source to a high voltage AC source, similar to power that would be available at an electrical wall outlet. Inverters are used for many applications, as in situations where low voltage DC sources such as batteries.
Charging CIRCUIT
This circuit convert the voltage from (220Ac) to (12Dc) in purpose of charging of the battery which will supply the converting circuit with 12 vdc to convert this voltage to 220 vac .
INVERTER
This curcuit has 5 parts We will deifine the parts in the upcoming slides
Voltage regulator
We use Regulators to stabilize the input so the regulator will keep the output value. This voltage Regulator has 3 pins. We use it to get 5 voltage value. The pins in 7805are: 1) Input, 2) ground, 3) output
CD4047
CD4047 is capable of operating in either the monostable or astable mode.
Features:
Wide supply voltage range 3.0V to 15V. Low power consumption True and complemented buffered outputs
OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS
We used this amplifier(MC1741) to protect our circuit ,and as a comparator.
FEATURES :
Short Circuit Protected Outputs. True Differential Input Stage. Single Supply Operation: 3.0 V to 32 V. Low Input Bias Currents. Single and Split Supply Operation.
Power Transistors
1- Power transistor (2SC1061): We used this transistor for the first stage of the amplification procces.
2SC1061
2-Power transistor (KU607): We used 5 transistors to amplificate the current . It is very important due to the power amplification.
KU607
Transformers
In our circuit we used two kinds of transformer. 1- in charging curcuit 2- in inverter curcuit
In the charging curcuit we need to lower the 220v to 24v so we used a transformer who has the secondry<primary. In the inverter curcuit we need to higher the 10-12v to 220v so we used a transformer who has the secondry>primary
Conclusion
The goals for this project were to produce a pure sine wave inverter that would output at 50Hz. total cost of all the components used in the construction of the circuit was around $65 as compared to the $300 to 600pure sine wave inverters on the market now. The project, in its present condition, does work in the manner the team wished and has met every goal set at the commencement of this venture.
