The effort is media neutral,embraces electronic sources and they are centralizing the offices involved. Records Management isfollowing a retention schedule which meets federal requirements. They are actively seeking a balance between minimum requirements and not taking too much time. Out of our permanentrecords, 3-5% are archival. They are working on producing a protocol manual and are interviewingdepartments to see what they need and how they can help free storage space. If your department isanxious to begin the process please contact David at David.Reed@du.edu. 2. Departmental Announcements:-Martin J. Katz is the new interim Dean of the Law School.-Jeremy Wurtzman is the new women’s tennis coach.-There is a 2
