Public Health Education (PHE) Background


Indonesia as a developing country is facing poor hygiene and outrageous health problem. This facts is the key factor to contribute the increased mortality and morbidity rate of children. Diarrhea, caries dents, infection diseases become the most top diseases found commonly amongst community especially children in many district in DIY, East Java and West Java. Lack of personal knowledge of hygiene and bad habit in healthy lifestyle become the major challenge. We believe that HEALTH is a RIGHT for everyone therefore we provide access these Primary Health in the community. Public Health Education (PHE) Program play an important role to support Health and Hygiene as one of Unilevers Vitality Mission core part to build healthy and hygiene habit

OBJECTIVES
To empower community and encourage them to have their self healthy community, as well as assist them to fully participate in long term health development plan To reduce mortality and morbidity rates that caused by Diarrhea, Malaria and Dengue also other infection by: Changing the community behavior by encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle As initiator Health Activation to move everyones heart to contribute and play as apart in building Healthy Nation To build corporate image by embedding CSR to Unilever Brands in promoting healthy life style. (Pepsodent, Lifebuoy, Nomos, Close Up etc)
