An e-Twinning Project
My Favourite Sports and Games is an e-Twinning project designed in order for different countries to come together todiscuss and present their unilateral love of sports and games. The four countries currently involved are: Croatia, Italy,Slovakia and Turkey. The project is currently under-way with students joining international groups with the same likes (i.e.football, swimming etc) to discuss with each other how they will present their sport. This magazine is just a little extra side-project which the students can read and enjoy with their other friends

My Favourite Sports and Games project was started in mid-March by Slovakia and Turkey. The idea was to getstudents to communicate with each other about their favourite sports and games and then to present them on
TwinSpace in whatever format they decided (slideshows, photographs, video, web links etc…). Shortly after we
were joined by Italy and Croatia and the project got underway. Firstly each student produced a slideshow tointroduce themselves and tell everyone a little about their hobbies and sports/games and who, in the sportsworld, they liked, be it a team or an individual. After this the students were then encouraged to start communicating with each other, either using forums or via
live chat sessions. This was so the students could firstly practice their English communıcation skills and secondlystart to form groups of similar ‗likes‘ in order to work on presentations about the sports they have in common.
The end product is to create multi-lateral presentations concerning sports, games and the healthy lifestylesassociated with these so as to give all students and teachers a more positive outlook towards health and sports. The students also showed interest in producing a magazine that they could contribute to and show their
classmates and thus that brings us here …. To our international magazine for ‗My Favourite Sports and Games‘.
Thanks to all the students and teachers involved in this project witjh a special thank you to Saban Canan
