Number of Users.
Except as provided in the Device Connections (all editions),Remote Access Technologies (Home Basic and Home Premium editions) and OtherAccess Technologies (Ultimate edition) sections below, only one user may use thesoftware at a time.c.
The software may include more than one version, such as32-bit and 64-bit. You may use only one version at one time.3.

Hardware or software you use to·pool connections, or·reduce the number of devices or users that directly access or use the software(sometimes referred to as “multiplexing” or “pooling”), does not reduce the numberof licenses you need.b.
While the software is running, you may use its fonts to displayand print content. You may only·embed fonts in content as permitted by the embedding restrictions in the fonts;and·temporarily download them to a printer or other output device to print content.c.
Icons, images and sounds.
While the software is running, you may use but notshare its icons, images, sounds, and media.4.
Activation associates the use of the software with a specific device. During activation,the software will send information about the software and the device to Microsoft. Thisinformation includes the version, language and product key of the software, the Internetprotocol address of the device, and information derived from the hardware configurationof the device. Before youactivate, you have the right to use the version of the software installed during theinstallation process. Your right to use the software after the time specified in theinstallation process is limited unless it is activated. This is to prevent its unlicensed use.
You will not be able to continue using the software after that time if you donot activate it.
If the device is connected to the Internet, the software mayautomatically connect to Microsoft for activation. You can also activate the softwaremanually by Internet or telephone. If you do so, Internet and telephone service chargesmay apply. Some changes to your computer components or the software may requireyou to reactivate the software.
The software will remind you to activate it untilyou do.
a.The software will from time to time validate the software, update or require downloadof the validation feature of the software. Validation verifies that the software hasbeen activated and is properly licensed. Validation also permits you to use certainfeatures of the software or to obtain additional benefits.
